Branch Scholarships

The American Society of Civil Engineers Houston Branch has funded the 2020 ASCE Student Chapter Scholarship Fund and will be awarding scholarships to outstanding students from the local ASCE Houston Branch university student chapters (Prairie View A&M University, Rice University, Texas Southern University, University of Houston-Main Campus, University of Houston-Downtown, and University of Texas at Tyler-Houston Engineering Center).

The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of overall merit, in recognition of personal student achievements, involvement and achievements with the ASCE Student Chapter, and with regard to financial responsibility.  The number and value of each scholarship will be determined upon receipt of the scholarship applications.  The total number and dollar amount of Scholarship awards is determined each year by the ASCE Houston Branch, however the minimum amount of any award this year will be $500.  The scholarship applications are to be received no later than 5 PM on April 24, 2020 and will be awarded at the June ASCE Houston Branch Meeting.
