2026 ASCE Houston Branch Scholarships
The ASCE Houston Branch and Institutes are proud to support the future of civil engineering through our annual scholarship program. This year, we awarded $31,000 in scholarships to outstanding students, recognizing their academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to the engineering profession.

More Information About the High School Scholarship
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Houston Branch proudly supports the next generation of engineers through the ASCE Houston Branch High School Scholarship Program. Scholarships are awarded to outstanding graduating high school seniors with a permanent address in a county served by the Houston Branch who plan to pursue an engineering or other STEM degree through an ABET-accredited program beginning in Fall 2026.
Scholarship recipients are selected based on overall merit, including academic achievement, leadership, personal accomplishments, and financial responsibility. The number and value of scholarship awards are determined each year based on the pool of qualified applications.
For the 2026 scholarship cycle, the Houston Branch awarded:
Two (2) scholarships of $1,500 each
Four (4) scholarships of $1,000 each
One (1) scholarship of $500
The application for the 2027 ASCE Houston Branch High School Scholarship will open in January 2027. Check back soon for updates!

More Information About the Student Chapter Scholarship
The ASCE Houston Student Chapter Scholarship recognizes outstanding student members who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to the civil engineering profession. Through this scholarship, the ASCE Houston Branch supports the next generation of engineers by helping offset educational expenses while encouraging continued involvement in ASCE and the local engineering community.
For the 2026 scholarship cycle, the Houston Branch awarded:
Two (2) scholarships of $ 2,500 each
Two (2) scholarships of $1,500 each

In addition to the overall ASCE Houston Branch scholarships, three of our institutes, the Houston Chapter of EWRI, the Houston Chapter of SEI, and the Houston Chapter of GI offered scholarships this year.
2026 University Winners
The EWRI Houston Chapter funded four (4) scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each.
