2026-2027 Section Director Candidate: Johnny Kim, PE, CFM
Johnny Kim is a water resources team leaders at Halff Associates, Inc., and has 10 years of experience in drainage and flood mitigation studies. He is serving as the Past President for the ASCE Houston Branch and has held multiple Board positions before then. Johnny is a native Houstonian, and obtained a BS in Civil Engineering from UT Austin and an MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Outside of work, he serves as the youth pastor at Ye Darm Presbyterian Church. He and his wife have a 3-year old son and a 2-month old daughter.
