2025-2026 Secretary Candidate: Youssaira Belmokadem, PE

Youssaira has over a decade of experience in infrastructure and transportation projects, specializing in bridge engineering. She works as a Bridge Project Engineer and Project Manager at GFT. Her portfolio showcases diverse delivery methods such as design- build and design-bid-build, contributing to major projects like the SH 288 Toll Lanes, SH 99 Grand Parkway, IH-35, and the Westpark Tollway Extension. Her work includes designing overpasses, bridge widenings, phased bridges, multi-level bridge interchanges, and load rating, as well as project management, inspection, maintenance, and construction support.

Youssaira currently serves as VP Technical for ASCE-Houston and previously served as the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) Chair in 2023-2024. Her involvement with ASCE began as a student member at the University of Houston, where she served as Co-Captain of the Steel Bridge Competition team in 2014. Passionate about supporting students, she actively fosters connections between future engineers and the industry.

Youssaira earned a master’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Houston. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, nature, exercise, and books.
