Younger Member's Report
Happy December Everyone,
I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving and enjoyed (or are still enjoying all of the leftovers). We don’t have much planned for the month of December as were heading in to the holidays in a few short weeks, so here’s a recap of what has been going on in the past month and what is coming up in January.
We had an amazing turnout at our joint social event with the younger member groups for the AWWA and WEAT on November 20th at the West End. On December 4th we had the TBPE Licensing Presentation at Terracon. George Hartmann from TBPE presented on the requirements for taking the PE exam and there was a great question and answer session with the PE Panelists. Thanks to Scott Blissit, Steven Boyd, Klinton Kovar, and Lacey Thompson for their time and willingness to share some of their experience and knowledge.
In the New Year we have a tour of the Rinker Materials plant on January the 8th and the Central Region Younger Member Conference January 29th – 31st. These events are on the website calendar with more detailed information, so take look there and check out the other happenings around the branch.
