Younger Member's Report
Happy November All,
As we all start to scramble around for the holidays, we will try not to pile too much onto everyone’s busy schedules. That being said we do have a few events over the next month and beyond that I hope to see many of you at.
This month we have a social event at the West End near the Galleria on the 20th. This will be a joint social with the younger member groups for the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Water Environmental Association of Texas (WEAT).
We also have the TBPE Licensing Presentation on December 4th at Terracon on Clay Road. We will have George Hartmann from TBPE to discuss the requirements for taking the PE exam, as well as some information about the exam itself, and you will have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the licensure process.
Once we get into the New Year and out of the holiday season, we will also have a tour of the Rinker plant on January the 8th. All of these events have been posted to the event calendar on the website, so please take a look there for more detailed information and to check out the other happenings around the branch.
As always, please let me know if you have an idea for a technical, volunteer, or social event that you think would be fun to have or if you would like to get more involved.
