Financial Strategies for Engineers-
On June 15th, ASCE will be hosting a Financial Strategies for Engineers luncheon at Buca di Beppo on Buffalo Speedway at 12:00 PM. Registration is $5 and can be done here: http://ascehouston.org/meetinginfo.php?id=213. Our speaker, Chris Wilbur, will talk about student loan management, investment basics, financial considerations of home buying, and more. Attendees need to RSVP by Friday, June 9th.
YMI Happy Hour Hosted by WTS-
ASCE YM will join the WTS on June 22nd at Henderson Heights from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Registration is $10 for members and non-members and $5 for agency and student chapter members. Habitat for Humanity Community Build -
Come join us on Saturday, June 24th, to help build houses for local families with Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Harris County! Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome. Ways To Show Off Your Civil Engineering Pride
Back by popular demand, we’ve reinvigorated our 2016 Texas ASCE YM design with tees in collegiate colors and tanks in cool summer tones. What better way to show off your CE pride than with a neat tank you can sport at the park, at the brewery, or while camping with your favorite colleagues from around the state?
TexASCE Younger Member Shirt and Tank order form closes Monday, August 14th. Choose your styles, colors and sizes and conveniently pay online! All shirts will be shipped to the ASCE Texas Section office and distributed to the branches at CECON on Thursday, September 21st and at the Texas-wide YM Camping Trip the weekend of September 22nd-24th. Your branches will distribute to individuals from there.
