Notice of Branch Bylaws Revision
The Board of Directors (“Board”) of the Houston Branch, of the Texas Section, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) (“Branch”), hereby provide a Notice of Adoption of proposed Bylaws revisions, to all Assigned Members of the Branch. The Board will vote to adopt these revisions at their next duly constituted Board meeting scheduled for September 6, 2016. The proposed revisions align the Branch Bylaws with models provided by the Texas Section and the Society, in addition to adding the new Board position of Vice President Communications.
The current Branch Bylaws, adopted in 1990, as well as the proposed revisions, are available for review (Current Branch Bylaws and Revised Branch Bylaws).
