Younger Member's Report
Happy September Everyone,
We have a couple events coming up that I hope you’ll get excited for! There will be a social event at Fox and the Hound in the Energy Corridor on Westheimer, just west of Beltway 8. That will be on September 17th starting at about 5:30, so swing by for a little bit after work on a Thursday.
We are also working on setting up a joint tour with the younger members for AWWA and YPT. The tour will be of the Star Pipe Products and is tentatively scheduled for October 9th. As more details for that become available we’ll send out an update as always PDH’s are available for this event.
On September 26th, the ASCE younger members will be participating in the Galveston Beach Clean-Up. The event starts at 9am and runs till noon, so it’s a great opportunity to come out help with the International Costal Clean-Up Effort, and then have a nice afternoon at the beach. As we roll into October we will be welcoming some new volunteers into the Younger Member Chair positions, and I know their energy and excitement will help us have another great year full of fun and interesting events.
