Younger Member's Report

Happy August,

I hope you’re handling the summer heat well enough, and your electric bills aren’t too high from all the A/C. We don’t have any younger member activities planned for the next month just yet, but we are working on some events right now, so stay tuned for more information about those. Once we have more information I’ll send out an email update, and we will update the events calendar on the website.

This is also the time of year we start thinking about younger member chair positions for next year. If you have any interest in volunteering with younger members or getting more involved, please let me know. Maybe you went to an event and had a great time and want to help us have more great events. Maybe you have some ideas for technical activities, or want to see ASCE get involved with a volunteer event, or you just want to hang out with your fellow engineers at social events. Whatever it is, let me know and I’ll be happy to send you more information about the positions available.
