Central Texas,

Greetings fellow ASCE younger members! This year, Alexis Clark, the ASCE Younger Member Chair with the Dallas Branch has successfully organized a statewide gathering with other young engineers representing the great State of Texas in the form of a camping weekend. Five (5) meals and beverages will be provided (2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, and 1 lunch). Please notify Austin if you have any dietary restrictions (gluten-free, vegetarian, no-pork, etc.). The event will be family friendly; however, this is a weekend for young adults, so please take the event’s primary audience into consideration when bringing spouses and children.

Location is yet to be determined but will happen around the North-Central Texas Area (Cleburne/Waco area) due to the most confirmed participants being from Fort Worth and the Texas Water conference will be held in Fort Worth that week and conclude at 12:00 pm on Friday the 22nd. Location will be determined and announced on January 22nd.

Cost for the event is $25.00. This will cover campsite fees and meals.

Contact info: This event is coordinated by the Younger Member committee. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Austin (abrauel@landevengineers.com) or our social chair Megan Scudder (megan.scudder@centerpointenergy.com).
