Seminar #2:  May 25th, 2017 – City of Pearland

10:00am - 11:30am
"PROPER CULVERT INSTALLATION" - (ACPA/AmeriTex Pipe/Rinker Materials)
A properly installed pipe should remain in service for 50 to 100 years with little or no repair. This class promotes a solid understanding of installation, specifications, design requirements and material differences for pipe systems. It will also cover application of cement stabilized sand in pipe installation practices. Empower your staff with the ability to properly inspect, design, install and accept both flexible and rigid pipe systems.

11:30am - 12:30pm
"POST INSTALLATION INSPECTION" - (Rinker Materials/Forterra)
It is in the owner’s best interest to know that all pipes in their system have been properly installed and were not damaged such that the pipe system is not compromised.  Post Installation Inspection (PII) provides the owner the information needed to determine whether proper installation occurred prior to project close-out or final acceptance.

12:30pm - 1:00pm
"LUNCH AND STANDARD INLET MANHOLE PROGRAM" - (Forterra)
The TxDOT Standard Inlet and Manhole Program (SIMP) provides a uniform standard for Inlets and Manholes, with consistent sizing and shapes that can be used anywhere in the state of Texas.  This plan reduces the number of individual/unique designs and expedites projects from the initial design stage, all the way through construction. Products within this plan are pre-approved by TxDOT and do not require additional submittals.

1:00pm - 2:00pm
"ETHICS" - Steve Hiner, P.E. (Rinker Materials)
Continue your professional development with a segment that addresses the importance of holding paramount the safety, health and welfare of the public in the performance of your professional duties.

The Texas Concrete Pipe Association is comprised of producer members around the State of Texas.  Member include:  AmeriTex Pipe & Products, Rinker Materials, Forterra, Thompson Pipe Group, Del Zotto and CAPA.
