Join your peers for the next SEI Houston Chapter Luncheon Technical Session:

“Top Ten Useful Lessons for Structural Engineers”
Samuel Smiles, a Scottish author (1812-1904), wrote that “We learn wisdom from failure much more than from success.  We often discover what will do, by finding out what will not do; and probably he who never made a mistake, never made a discovery.” We would like to take this opportunity to lead the group on an amazing journey of discovery to explore what it means to be a Structural Engineer.  What do we really do and what does the world expect of us?  The thoughts offered are geared toward engineers at all phases of their far-reaching careers, from recent graduates to those enjoying their retirement; and all the wonderful experiences and challenging decisions we encounter along the path.
