EWRI

The Environmental & Water Resources Institute (EWRI) is ASCE’s technical source for environmental and water-related issues. EWRI is one of eight national ASCE technical institutes. In December 2014, the ASCE Houston Board approved a proposal to create a local EWRI Chapter.  The national EWRI Board approved the Houston EWRI charter in January of 2015.

 PAST EVENTS


May 21, 2015 - Municipal Water Infrastructure Council Symposium. EWRI Austin had its 10th Annual Continuing Education Workshop. This one-day event was in partnership with the Municipal Water Infrastructure Council (MWIC) and co-located with the EWRI World Congress at the new JW Marriott in downtown Austin. 

April 2015 - Review of HCFCD Applications & Examples Appendix - ASCE Houston - EWRI reviewed and provided comments to this Harris County Flood Control District document.

March 2015 - ASCE Houston / EWRI Launch - The new ASCE Houston - EWRI Chapter will be promoted at the March Meeting of the ASCE Houston Branch featuring keynote speaker, Mike Talbott, P.E., D.WRE.
