Dr. Jerry Rogers has been nominated and selected by the ASCE National Board as an ASCE Distinguished member. "A Distinguished Member is a person who has attained acknowledged eminence in some branch of engineering or in the arts and sciences related thereto, including the fields of engineering education and construction." Congratulations and job well done!
Sean Merrell, PE, PTOE, a previous Houston Branch member has been awarded the “Edmund Friedman Young Engineer Award for Professional Achievement” by ASCE’s Committee on Younger Members. This is a nationally competitive award and recognizes the hard work and excellence that Sean has contributed to ASCE and the Civil Engineering Profession. Sean is one of five winners chosen from numerous nominations throughout the U.S. Congratulations Sean for this amazing and well deserved achievement. Yet another example of the hard work and dedication put forth by Houston Branch volunteers.
